Hot Rods Has anybody ever seen a tri five four door GASSER?

My uncle swears his 57 four door is worthless, and in the late 90's he cut the frame or something to tub it. Has anyone ever made a 55-57 four door gasser?
i thing it would look alright

Now is the perfect time to get it from him if he thinks its worthless and you see potential
I personally dont like 4 door tri fives as gassers or tubbed but I do like them otherwise,
and there is always the 2 door conversion if you dont like 4 doors

last year at the cleveland autorama, i saw 2 56 chevy 4 doors with the rear doors welded shut and rear window frame removed. did'nt look bad. was an economical way to make a 2 door, remember 4 door front doors are about 4 " shorter than 2 door- doors. build what you like and enjoy what your building, its about the journey

 

I am doing a 57 4 door right now with a '51 axle, tunnel ram and 4 speed. If it doesn't rain I will get some pics tomorrow.
