Classic Instruments is Proud to Announce

SKY-DRIVE!!!!

Classic Instruments is proud to announce the next level in technology!
<?xml:namespace prefix = o ns = "urn:schemas-microsoft-com:eek:ffice:eek:ffice" />
With the push of a button, you can program your vehicle’s speedometer from the convenience of your garage to read in miles per hour, kilometers per hour or knots. The omnidirectional antenna gives you added mounting choices! This new innovative product works with any Classic Instruments or other manufacturer’s speedometer. Two additional wires give you added features and benefits. The first gives you an extra speed signal for cruise control. The second wire can activate a relay or light which does a variety of things such as locking your doors or turn on a speed warning light at a predetermined speed.

will the speed control work off the speedo its self?
and when you say "other mfg speedos" how does that work off a 1956 olds instument?

Thanks Ryan, I'll ask first, next time:eek:

Teleflex has a GPS speedometer and antenna for around $200.00. 120mph available in a couple of different styles. Problem Solved

iPhone has a Dash APP that will do this for free.

12. I probably won't own one in the immediate future but it sounds like a very good idea especially if you are one to change tires or gear ratios. I may look into it for the wifes highway cruiser when I get to that point. By then there will no doubt be a new and improved version. :D

Cool product! That would make it REAL EASY to put cruise in any car, plus I can think of a few other uses. Now you guys just need to invent a little adjustable / variable speed motor to drive my vintage speedo when I'm using the Sky Drive...

Looks like a solution for a lot of us. Now if you could just figure out how to hook that to a locator box that would send a signal out telling where the vehicle is it would get some real attention around here real quick.

I'm about two cylinders short of being able to use that 5 inch V8 speedster speedo in the 48. I wish one came minus the V8 on it.

Having an accurate speedometer in a hot rod is definitely not traditional.

So....does this gizmo work with all your electronic speedometers? does it send out a pulse, just like an electronic speed sensor does?

Squirrel, that Sky Drive GPS will work with any electronic speedometer. It does send out a pulse just like an electronic speed sensor as well.
