Hello everyone, thanks for taking a second to read this. My name is graham and I just opened The Elroy cafe, its real down home cooking and everything is made from scratch. Hand breaded chicken fried steak, real country gravy (not that powderd B.S.) hand cut fries, hand formed burgers, delisious mashers, all you can eat fresh fried catfish friday buffet, rubens, philly cheese steaks, grilled steaks, fried shrimp basketts, cobler ala-mode with vanilla bean ice cream, All the good stuff!

The restaurant is a tribute to old racers from surounding areas and serves as a mini museim with a picture gallery on the walls. A tribute to Two lane blacktop Corner with lots of movie memerabillia from the movie ( not compleated but soon will be) and lots and lots of historical shots from days gone by at various drag strips in the surounding texas central region. Pictures and articles of my beloved costom Earls Pearl. I encourage everyone to come out, drive your cars out as a group or as a solo trip, day trip, date, whatever and take pictures and swap stories. You never know whos gonna be there. If you give me a heads up before you come out and let me know what time and I will do my best to cone off an area just for your group 512-243-2233 or my cell 512-809-3711 if I dont answer call the restaurant number, im probly cooking and not able to answer the cell. The restaurant is located 1/8 mile from the new F-1 race track being built and its a real nice ride out. clubs welcome, lone wolfs welcome, bobbers welcome, g***ers welcome anyone with a true intrest in hot rodding past is welcome. I promise you you wont regrett it from a culinary standpoint or as a hot rod enthusiests.

I plan on putting in horse shoes, washers, darts, pinball machines, have live music, and we will be having the first anual Elroy car show in conjunction with the grand opening. If anybody is intrested in showing their car please let me know. I have room for 100-150 cars and hope it to be like a version of pistons and paint or like the lone star round up was in the beggining at pebble beach here in Austin. Vendors let me know as well and bands. Good times.

The restaurant currently doesnt sell alchohal but byob is allowed as long as your responsible.

There will also be a suggestion box that will be forwarded to F-1 to let them know what events people would like to see at the track, Can you say Drag Racing? its possible. lots of talk about puting in a 1/4 mile in strip but need supporters. Austin could have its very own strip again just like the old days...Who's on board?

I live in Round Rock, I will make it a point to take the wife and kids there soon.

How far are you from the F1 track?

I am an avid sport bike rider and will be heading to the motogp races for sure.

Man, I sure wish you the best of luck. Austin is gettin' hot in food circles, wouldn't be surprised if you make the Elroy a success.
