I have a numbers matching 1959 Bel Air I am working on. Believe it or not, I am going to keep the 235 inline. I did a search, and this board came up, so here I am with all my questions... I want to fix her up, but use vintage parts to do it. Old School Hot Rod.
Hey From Carroll County. Looks like a nice car. This is the intro page, so tell us more about yourself. Murph
Beautiful '59. Congrats. You can do a lot with a Stovebolt, and they can be set up to propel that old beast just fine.
Welcome from Southern Maryland. Great looking '59. Would look even better with some O.E.M. steel wheels and poverty caps. Enjoy your HAMBtime.....Don.
Thanks guy's. I know nobody around here that knows anything about these cars. I actually traded the wheels that are on now, for a set of original Corvette disk brake rally's that were on the car. But the skinny and worn Bias Ply's were to tough to drive on. These were brand new, so It was a good deal....for now. I see white walls in the future for sure. But I have allot to learn and do first.
Welcome Aboard from Auburn Hills, MI, originally from the Eastern Shore, more specifically Queenstown, Maryland. You're gonna love it here and make lots of new friends, some of which will be right down the street and you never even knew they were into the same things as you...
