Hello! I am ***embling a pickup bed, and would like to keep it looking like it came from the factory, so im wondering about steel rivets. dont think there is such a thing. any ideas on how i could do it without it looking like i bolted it together? ive seen allen heads with the head filled and that looked like a rivet, but im concerned about where the other side shows. any ideas/help would be greatly appreciated! Thanks, Daniel

****on head allen's or just use steel rivets. They're really easy to install with an air hammer set up

  7. I need to get your tie rod over to you so you have some steering. I have only had it almost year since last LA Roadster show when you left it in the swap space. Maybe see you this weekend.

Hot rivets! Thats what we always called em. Not sure if they were really hot rivets like what was used on structural steel, but that was the old timers always called em. A side benefit of hammered rivets vs. pop rivets, the loud noise will drown out nagging girl friends, or talkative customers and friends.
