Hey, I've been in and around here for a while, just in awe of everyone's rides, skills, knowledge and passion for traditional rods and kustoms. In the 60's my dad used to race stock cars at Barberton Speedway. While he was pretty much out of the scene by the time I was around (wife, kids, mortgage took over like they often do), I still got caught up on the culture from his old pictures and of course his racing stories. One of my earliest memories is riding around in our garage on a bicycle (when I was 4 or so) just fascinated by the welding cylinders, tools, and other artifacts of speed. Anyway, glad and appreciative to be here. I have so much to learn.
I worked on a stock car at Barberton in the 70's........ And later I went to work for Guy Klapp who raced there as well. Barberton was great memories
