  4. Dunno the guys name, or if he's a HAMBer, but he was rolling with the Hale's Speed Shop crew out of Lewisville.

This is my '49 Chevy! I had a couple of friends tell me about this thread, so I ended up creating an account to answer your question. The truck is Hot Rod Flatz california suede. I ordered a gallon kit from them and used the kit with everything that came with it (i.e. their reducer and hardner). You can actually get a quart kit from them as well if your just wanting to paint a bike. It's a single stage metallic as well, so no mixing clears to get the right look.

awesome i really appreciate that , i've been in contact with hales speed shop, and he finally responded to me....I work at the english color in Plano so i was hoping it was something i could mix, however i have a hot rod flatz chip book at home..and never even considered that color cause it just didnt look right in print...but man that color is slick in person...well not just the color..the truck as well..when i saw it ..i made my wife take a picture...its clean...i can only hope my car looks that nice when i finally get it done...
but thanks for going through all the trouble to create an account
