at one point after they punch the cop the kids in the ford catch up and the guy driving says "hit the injection" or something along those lines, then he hits the switch on the dash, and after harley races the kid in ford the kid opens the hood and says thats not stock and harley says "i built it myself" my guess is it throws in some avgas because when they hit the switch they show the tailpipes spittin flames

That I could handle, it's how it's able to repair the body damage and go back to damaged like it was Cristien or something. Darn cutting room guys. Oops I'm talk'n about the first one.
    Oh well, shoot me

I believe there were at least two movie cars from Return To Macon County. I looked at a 57 Chevy that was for sale in Atlanta back around 2002. I took pictures of the car and it appeared to be the Chevy from Return To Macon County from the white rolled interior down to the nitro switch on the dashboard. The car was pretty rough and I p***ed on it. I always regretted not buying it and restoring it to the movie look. There is a man in Kentucky who claims to have the other car that was the nicer of the two cars. Check out the picture I took of the Atlanta car. I heard this car was later offered on ebay. I would love to locate this car and see if it was ever restored.

I'm pretty sure that was the car on ebay around 2001, I think it was listed at $10,000 not sure if it sold.

I think this is the one from Kentucky,

Movie cars are pretty cool and I'm all for saving things like that but I think even I would have to ditch those flames.
