I always get a kick outta reading all the progress updates on this site. I finally have something of my own to contribute that might be interesting to some of you guys. I've been putting the word out on the list for some parts lately, so i thought it might be cool to put the part to the face so to speak.

This is my first project on this scale, and I'm unsure of a lot of stuff, so it's by NO MEANS perfect. Not going for any particular style...I have ideas in my head that keep changing everytime I look at pic posts on this site. I'm working with my Brothers-in-law, who I have to say are pretty awesome fabricators and body guys and i'm learning a hell of a lot from them, which was the whole idea of this project.

Hope you like it. I'm open to ideas if you wanna contribute.

    Thanks for the update.

This post hit the spot. I just bought a camaro clip for my 53 f100 and your pics are right on the money. I was looking for swap pics of the camaro clip with the rear horns still on the clip and just welding it to the frame. The majority of clip swaps I have seen are done with the rear portion of the camaro horns cut off. Thanks

    Keep us posted.

Really nice set of photos, side. Could have used some of them for the IFS article we did on the FTE board about a year ago. You'd drive them nuts with your engine choice... but that's the beauty of it. Nice truck.

I used your article as reference while we were doing the job. Real handy... especially the info on the expected drop of the various options as well as the pros and cons to each. It just worked out that they had a camaro clip laying around, and I had the nailhead in my 65 Riv parts car... so thats what we used. Thanks for putting all that info together!
