jamco 49-51 merc questions

hi,just wondering if anyone has experience in installing a jamco front end kit in 1 1951 merc?I have bought and installed a used kit with no instructions.When everything is installed,i have about 1 inch negative castor,not good.Repeated calls to jamco have been attempted to no avail.The 1 /4 plates he supplies to raise front end geometry seem to push the control arm too far in,if I swap the plates it goes 1 inch positve castor..any suggestions??????????
