Road Devils "Road to Recovery"

Hey everyone this is Jefe from the Devil's Brigade Chapter of the Road Devils Car Club. We are less than 2 weeks out from our run out to Viva 14 to raise money and awareness for The Task Force Dagger Foundation. The Devils Brigade is an all military chapter of the Road Devils and the majority of us all where the Black Dagger on our shoulders. Task Force Dagger Foundation is a NPO for United States Army Special Operations Command soldiers who were wounded in combat operations. The Foundation supports the soldiers and their families and helps them make the transition back to civilian life. We are leaving on the 18th of April from Fayetteville, NC (Ft Bragg) and headed to Atlanta, GA to pick up HW 20 to Memphis, TN where we will rest and repair(RR). We are taking 40 all the way out to Viva and stopping along the way to see some friends and snap some photos. We will be picking up members along our route and will be rolling into Vegas together. We are filming a DVD/Do***entary on the Road Devils and the Devils Brigade and will be donating to the Task Force Dagger Foundation. This trip you guys are taking is going to be great. Wish I could make it down to Viva and shake all your hands. Tell Dave and Big Steve to make sure and keep a beer in all your guys hands for me.

I talked to a guy last week about setting up an event at the dragstrip here in Fayetteville and they seemed pretty stoked about us doing something.

 

The time is coming quick. Heading out on that highway is gonna feel good!

It's tempting, but all my money is going towards a rather large party at my house the following weekend.

We've been slightly updated by Nick and Roger. Really hope this doesn't mess up the trip, but take care of yourselves first.

 

The Road Devils were hit pretty hard by the NC storms, but we've decided to push on - we'll be hitting the road at 8AM tomorrow morning and are vegas bound!!
