    I got a work offer at yesterday.Welding job for a 63' Cadillac.
Just wondering is there a vendor that sells repairing panels for that era Cadillac's?
There is a need for new toe boards and maybe front floor panels too.
Yes,i know,i could fab new toeboards and maybe floor too,but i dont want to waste any qualitytime for extra work.I have enought work to do with my own projects, but that could be nice way to earn some extra cash for my shoebox project.
I didnt accept that job yet, just said maybe.
Well,if there is any panels available maybe then i'll say yes..

Seriously doubt that you will find any patch panels for them Caddys.Get fresh metal from a donor car-you can`t beat the fitting of stock metal...,I replaced the whole floor in a 63 vert a couple of years ago,the owner bought a complete floor (was about 1000 Euros) from a classic car dismantler here in Sweden. And then it required about 100 hours of cuting and welding....later on he sold the car as"rustfree, never welded in"....

I just checked out that website... both toe panels and front floors are $340, shipping is $470 economy, $430 priority.

So $780 plus whatever duties are..... gotta compare that to what youd charge to make the parts, from my experience those are simple enough cars.

I guess using donor car parts is out of the question, just because we dont have them much in here and what we have, are in worse shape than this customer job.
Shipping isnt really an issue,i know freight companies that ship really cheap. One company i've used, their minimum charge is around 70-80 dollars.Really useful service, when buying larger items.
But i think 340 bucks is just too much for something you can fab yourself.
Thanks guys,i have to think what to do with this deal.
