Customs 1949 merc

trying to find a little info for a friend on this merc, around when it was built, who did the chop, ch***is etc etc. i took a pic of it out at Viva i think 6yrs ago? i know its been around for awhile

theres a thread makin fun of that merc when it was on ebay but i cant find it right now. i remember its on a late model ch***is and the guy removed the rockers and channeled something crazy like 6''

 

DAMN all day and only 1 reply! ya i remember the other thread, i couldn't find it either.. i heard Winfield chopped it but it doesn't really look like a winfield chop...somebody must have some info on this merc.

 

im having a hard time believing with 49 Merc in the caption only 209 people have checked out the pic!! anybody have a link to the other thread on it? i cant find it....

 

you guys usually have everything to say and all the info about mercs!! i keep on waiting to see a tumble weed cruise by on this thread!!! this thread is DEAD!! nobody knows anything about this thing?

If you're heading out to viva this year it'll probably be there. You could always ask around and find out who the owner is and ask him.

owner has a stack of receipts which all lead to a winfield built car but sure dont look like it

 

I know the car,but don't know any info about it. Matt already asked me.
