Hi Guys, I've been building a 64 GTO straight axle car and I'm at a point where I need a little help on how to route the brake lines from the calipers up to the ch***is. Do any of you guys have any pictures you can post so I can see how you are doing it. I'm looking at getting some lines from Speedway. I'm also going from the single master cylinder to a double since I now have disc brakes up front and drums rear. Are any of you using a proportioning valve to the rear ? Thanks for the help, Dil
I don't have any pics. but all I did was run #4 braided line from a br*** T block down to the caliper making sure there was plenty slack in it for turning and suspension travel. The p*** side required a mounting bracket and steel fitting that would accept the steel spring clip. It was not hard to do just getting all the adapters for the #4 line was the worst. I won't use rubber on anything after I started to use the braided brake lines. Gordon
