ok so i was going to take the half ton fenders and extend them out to fit the duallys. with them off, i kinda like it. I'm getting mixed reviews from people due to the weight of the truck. i am going to lower the rear about 3 inches though. what do you think about the fenders. -DVZ

Without a doubt, put the fenders back on. Gene

I took the duallies off mine, and spaced the inner wheel out 1.5 inches, and put the fenders back on. The fans love it! blog.hemmings.com/.../a-real-bob-evans-hot-rod-down-on-the-farm-grain- truck-becomes-most-unexpected-hot-rod/

I can't really see what, other than those round ones that go over the drive wheels of a city tractor, you'd use, I have to say put fenders back on it.

Having seen it in person, the picture in the avatar does not do it justice. It is some serious Iron.

As for the OP's truck: fenders, extended to cover the duals.

Fenders, please. It will clean it up and make the bed better match the cab.

My opinion and nothing more.

Love the duals. Extended fenders would look bad ass.

fenders on the front and fenderless on the back looks at best unfinished and at worst not well thought out. i ran my willys sans rear fenders for about a year, and hated it.

however, that said...

follow your own mind and heart here... always keep in mind who you're building it for. if you're doing this for everyone else but you, you will hate it. trust your own advice

awesome. thanks to all of your replies. i am currently fabing up the fenders to be placed on. i think i am going to have a de-tachable option for them, so i can run w/o them if i want to. i will post pics of the final product when done. the fenders are the matching patina also, so it will look more complete. -DVZ

Bend up some 1/8" plate to cover the tires with a top and ends at about 45 degree bends.
Funtional but kinda crude looking in a nice way.
