Got a '36 frame and drive train I dragged out of the local canyon. Most parts were melted or bent, was in a house fire. The Flathead now sits in my yard as art :D The wishbones seem solid, but the fronts are a little bent. I want to use them as they seem alright. Feel solid and going in a 27 steel bucket. Easy fix with the oxy/acy, would you use them?

    Thanks from the new guy.

No! If the fire was hot enough to make the metal sag it made the parts weaker.

fronts been plenty hot by the look of it, not worth dying for, looks like a few good bits there though (inside rear end, inside engine?)

Well, It sat in the canyon for about 5 years, and I do know it was a hot fire. Wondering if I can re temper them? But like you said, not worth dying for.
