I realized I hadn't posted all the Hot Rods that were displayed at Pebble Beach. So the next one off the rank is the Crawford/Stroner '32 roadster restored by Chuck and Mike Longley of Florida. Seeing this roadster at Pebble Beach meant a lot as I have been in contact with Ken Crawford for the past year talking about this and other Hot Rods Ken has owned and all the stories from the 40s, It was a fantastic experience meeting Ken, his family and Chuck & Mike. Too bad I was still a little jet lagged. Initially the Crawford/Stroner roadster just missed the cut but fortunately for the Longley's one of the selected cars had to withdraw as it wasn't going to be ready in time. This was good news as now Ken was going to attend and we were able to meet which was one of the many highlights of my US trip. Unfortunately I don't have a pic of Ken and myself together but Ken's daughter did take a pic so I will see if he can get a hold of it for me. Now to the pictures.

OH My! Jimmy, that is beautiful. Thanks so much for posting......I especially like the helmet shot....so cool
Funny that I would appear in your shots. My brother and I were there with the Frank Morawski roadster and we are the two old guys sitting in front of the yellow ferrari in the following shot. Pebble Beach is an experience I highly recommend attending at least once. Thanks for posting.
I didn't realize that was you and your brother. Bummer we could have had a talk. I agree Pebble Beach is an experience, I had an amazing time. Do you happen to have the HAMB meet and greet photos? Someone took the pics but I don't know who, I would really like a copy. Cheers jimmy
Is that car Black, or a very dark Blue ? My head says it's probably Black, but the grill insert looks darker than the paint. Regardless, beautiful car, thnks so much for the great coverage at PB. Johnnie.
Thanks for sharing the photos. I appreciate it that you took the time to share a large number of detail photo of the car so that the rest of us can see it up close.
G'day Johnnie, it is a dark blue, and is kinda hard to get a good shot of the colour. This pic ain't mine but show the colour well
I'm' afraid the HAMB is about as close to PB as I'll ever get. Thanks for posting a fantastic bunch of pictures. Frank
Jimmy, Thanks for clarification. That car is smokin' ! I think my '32 Roadster project just took on a direction. Johnnie.
Jimmy, It was great to meet you. Thanks for posting those fantastic shots. Very few have noticed the F-1 mounts in back but you don't miss much do you? Not the first time we've done it. It works well. Had a do***entary on doing it yourself but Street Rodder has it and kinda dropped the ball on using it as a tech article. Ken is a treat isn't he? What a great guy. HOpe your projects are coming along well. Regards- Mike
