Lost my Dad to the same disease in 1999. R.I.P Dr. Dave.

 

Todd, I'm 65 years old and my Dad died in 1995 at age 80. I still own 13 of his cars and regularly drive my '34 Vicky that he bought in 1959 and it stayed in our family. Just as your Dad was your hero, mine was my hero. I think of him, still, every day.
God bless your Dad and may he rest in peace. He's in a better place now............Mike

Really appreciate it guys. Seems that we always forget how much we all really have in common when it comes to things like this...

 

Man I am so sorry. I lost my father 4 years ago this month and it still hurts terribly. But I just focus on the memories he left behind in his 54 years here. Praying for you and your family man. Keep your chin up.

Lord be with Dr. Dave! prayers are with you and your family. I lost a good friend a couple of months ago and the prayers and well wishes from hambers really helped to ease the pain. God Bless you my brother!

 

Lost my Dad Dec. 21st 1974 at 51 years old, cancer, terrible day. As the years p*** I realize more and more that you're only here for an instant and to make the best of the time you have. It sounds like you did, my sincere condolences.
