Event Coverage ACME Speed Shop's traveling roadshow rides again - Viva Las Vegas

Here we go again...my lovely wife Cynthia and I are heading to Viva Las Vegas Rockabilly weekend in a few minutes. This will be a short drive for us as we only live 250 miles from Vegas.

Cynthia is driving the van (her longest drive in it so far) and I am driving the 36 coupe.

We will make as many interesting stops for photos as possible today and will update photos from the show during the day tomorrow. If you are at the show, please stop by and see us. If you are wearing an ACME shirt we we will give you a free key chain made by Erick at Hot Rod Leather.

You guys are moving! You p***ed me going the opposite direction on the 55 freeway this morning around 10:30 am...an hour or so later at the Summit? No wonder that van goes through gas so fast. LOL. Have a safe trip...looking forward to the photos!

We have been wandering around (backroads) and found a few cool things today.









We stopped for gas in Baker cause ya gotta stop and get photos of your ride in front of the worlds tallest thermometer. While there a guy named JR stopped and tool photos of the van and told us his buddy had one, so we followed him to have look.

We arrived and set up the booth. Then set up the 36 in it's area with the other customs (I'll post photos tomorrow cause it was dark) I was so busy I failed to get any photos tonight, but I'll make it up to everyone by posting a lot of rockabetty photos tomorrow.
