So a recent string of bad luck has caught me starting in Feb. when my recently purchased 40 Ford Sedan Delivery fell on me and broke my arm left me pretty much laid up for 2 months...I had to rely on a couple buddies to get any work done on the delivery I got my cast off on the 12th of this month well on the 13th I was at work doing some work on our new building (I work at a restoration/custom shop) when the ladder slipped out and I basically rode the ride down on top of a 67 BMW...crushing mu hand and shattering the bone in one finger and splitting the bone in another into the joint...not to mention ending up with 10 s***ches in my chin and 5 in one finger...we I ended up with surgery in the finger with the bone split into the joint...I had to have a ***anium screw put in to hold mu bone together....needless to say I'm off work for a little while...going out of my mind not being able to work on cars...I have absolutely no use of my left hand....if not for the hamb and great community here I'd probably be going out of my mind thanks guys

Man that's awful, thoughts and prayers are with ya for
another speedy recovery. I've been fortunate that the
only thing holding me up on my project is green backs.

I know what it's like, I had 3 years off after a head on crash. The HAMB helped me through some very boring times.;) Hope you mend quickly.

......Hope you have a speedy recovery.....You know that there a lot of things you can do when your layed up...this gives you more time to plan and think about what your going to do with your car.some of the best ideas come from planning and looking at other cars before you do yours....Thinking and proper planning saves you a lot of money down the road.....sounds like you're a car nut and will be the rest of your life....be thankful that you have a lot of friends and H.A.M.B. to fall back to.

Good Luck to you. I understand your frustration. I got hurt and was laid up for a few months without the use of my right arm. I spent lots of time in the garage looking at what I wanted to do and being unable to actually do it. The HAMB helped p*** a lot of the boring times. :)

  25. Suggest you put on a helmet first thing when you get out of bed in the morning. Terrible run of bad luck, hoping you heal up quickly so you can get back to work on that '40.
