Manual rack from Speedway. Trans is a built 700r4. Rearend is a zr2 blazer rear 4x4, 4link is custom fabbed at the shop. A friend of mine is doing the work for me at his shop. Slaughterhouse Fabrications, Bellmore NY. I know I know, build your own. I help out when I can. But life is not permitting to do so right now. This is my first classic build, so learning as I go.

I saw your pics on the Chevy A.D. thread of the bed and dad told me about your thread i must have not subscribed to it....DUH anyways nice touch on the bed i had the same idea for mine (matching the curve of cab) dont get to caught up in the "I'm not building my own thing" everyone has to start somewhere just pay attention to what they are doing and ask alot of questions of how they did things just so you can get a good concept on how things work.

I was really unhappy at first until i found this last group of pictures. I looked for a build album ,but never found one. It sure would be nice to see it all from the start. Looks great though. JIM

    Hey Jim,
Not sure what happened to all of the previous pics in this thread. I have to go back into photobucket and upload them again. Been a 2 year forever changing build so far. But seeing it looking like a truck again really made my day.

And now back to present day:
not crazy about the straight line across the bottom of the grill. Still need to work that one out.
