I believe this abomination has been discussed at length on here previously.

Everyone that gets stuck with it just p***es it on to the next dreamer/****er. Cobbled together mess. Best you could do is mate the roof and rumble seat to a less desirable '35/36 body, but I bet it's priced out of that league to use for parts.

I believe a HAMB member owns it now, and uses it in his Avitar. Body looks like it is worth saving.

This car just won't go away. It's obviously hideous, but it can be salvaged if someone really wanted to correct all the **** wrong with it.

I'm no '35-36 expert, but is it channeled and or sectioned?

What I like is just the thoughts behind a builder of a custom. You wonder what goes through their mind...

Yes this gold chain custom is from Colombia and its mine. The story of getting this car into the USA was as scary as its front end. It all started with a down payment of $4000 in 11/09 then the fun began. The fun involved the N***au County PD, the Miami PD and the FBI Internet crime dept [ ic3]. NONE of our authorities would help. The Pd's said they can't get a search warrant for the money and the FBI said it didn't meet there threshold to investigate. NO results from any of them so I had a guy from work look up the seller in Bogotá. No comment on that part. Any way the car cleared customs in Port Everglades Fl last week and I drove down and brought it to NY this past weekend. Since that time I bought the car things changed. I have 2 other cars and got laid off. You need 3 things to play with hot rods; time, money and space. I got the time but not the other 2.
It does have a look only crack head would like but there is still a 36 3 window in there. I just don't have the space or money to rehab it. I trying 2 sell the other 2 and keep this one. I have a deposit on one and some interest in the other so maybe the next post will be drug rehabbing a 36. I think the 36' 3 window has the best body shape of all the 1930 cars but I still can't keep all of them.

I hope it all works out for you and you get the chance to bring her back. There is a '36 in there somewhere.... Good luck!!

  23. I don't understand the hatred and disgust toward this car. From my view the front clip is literally the only thing that needs NEEDS to be changed, and you got yourself a great looking 3 window 36! There are some overall ugly cars out there that just need a front to back overhaul to look respectful, but this is just a front end away from something that every red blooded car guy is going to be drooling over.

  24. ...oh and those rear fender scoop breather whatever the hells. Those would have to go to.
