This is something that's bugged me A LOT about bellytanks: How does a driver extricate himself from the vehicle by himself? Is there enough room for him to climb out of the ****pit with the top half of the body in place? -Brad
i can't answer your question, but when a car goes thru tech one of the things they do is make the driver in full firesuit get out of the vehicle. later jim
HA! Damn that's funny... I just keep wondering how guys get out of them, especially when I see pics of the crew putting the body on the cars AFTER the driver is strapped in. I know tech makes you get out of the car on your own, just wondering if there's an internal release for the body, or if the ****pit opening is bigger than I think. -Brad
The way mine is made, you just pull the release knob and the canopy releases. This opens the ****pit area up and I can climb out..
