This is something that's bugged me A LOT about bellytanks: How does a driver extricate himself from the vehicle by himself?
Is there enough room for him to climb out of the ****pit with the top half of the body in place?

i can't answer your question, but when a car goes thru tech one of the things they do is make the driver in full firesuit get out of the vehicle.

Are you asking because you are currently stuck in the ****pit of a bellytank? Be honest..

    HA! Damn that's funny...

I just keep wondering how guys get out of them, especially when I see pics of the crew putting the body on the cars AFTER the driver is strapped in.
I know tech makes you get out of the car on your own, just wondering if there's an internal release for the body, or if the ****pit opening is bigger than I think.

The way mine is made, you just pull the release knob and the canopy releases. This opens the ****pit area up and I can climb out..
