bbc headers

    i installed a gen4 chevy with oval ports in my 41 cpe. have a nice set of sanderson blockhuggers for rectangular ports. any thoughts on this? thanks

    Yea if they fit use them. What size are they 2" primary and 3 1/2 to 4 inch collector. Just be careful sometimes the bigger flanges might hit the head bolts/studs.

    How about posting some pics on the exhaust port on both the cylinder head and header flange??? Thanks! ..... I thing the headers should still work..

    As long as the flange on the header is bigger than the exhaust port in the head, I wouldn't worrk about it. Some headers used to be set up this was (don't know if they still are or not) to fight reversion.

    Block huggers aren't gonna give you a huge HP boost anyway.

    ONly issue will be if the flanges seal. Check the outside edge of the flange to see how much surface area is touching to seal.
