Projects 1950 merc Teeth style desoto grill

Does anyone know where to get a 50 merc grill. The 12 tooth style ? Pitted is OK, just want a real one, not one of these aftermarket aluminum ones.

they have 11 teeth out of a 53. sometimes you might be better off picking up a whole car for just the grille. Sledsville was making them out of aluminum but theyll set you back about 1200 i think it was.

I have never seen a 50 merc grill with 12 or 11 teeth.A merc grill has alot more then that.I better check some old pictures because that "merc grill" just dont sound familiar.

I think he's talking about a Desoto set-up for a 50 Merc,Jeff. Sometimes these guys don't express themselves very well.

Yes I know what he meant and I was surprised that nobody said anything. A Desoto grill looks NOTHING like a Mercury grill.
