    MGTSTUMPY, In the begining of your post you mention that you spoke to someone, but you mention Freds name, and you also mentioned his website, not ours. Fred is not associated with us other than doing our machine work. But you said that you had problems contacting him again, and that his email was bounced back, and you somehow got our number. If you discussed your project with Fred, then called us, then you were talking to two different companies. Happens all the time. Fred White is my Uncle and owns the machince shop but also sells items purchased from my inventory. We often get customers that spoke to him on a project, and try to contact him again, but inadvertantly call us, and visa versa. We are two totally different companies. I'm not sure if this is what happened, but no body from our place discussed a 383 with you.

    Mr. White, I don't have a dog in this fight but spending most of my working life in retail tells me you've already lost the battle, even if you think you've won the fight. I'd find someway to make this have a happy ending, it'll pay in the long run.

    This couldn't be more true. Regardless of what mgtstumpy ordered or thought he had ordered, he didn't pay for a rusty crank...regardless of how it happened. It's pretty apparent that you have no regard for customer satisfaction. If I were you, I'd have him send you the incorrect parts(expenses paid for BY YOU), and then send him the correct parts...end of story! It's not like this is going to sink your business.
    You talk like you're doing him a favor by discounting him the $300.00. Give me a break...

    Your comment shows total stupidity. You sure throw around the word, "regardless" without regard to the true situation. Your herd/gang mentality has no effect on me.

    WOW, I got tired of the bitching on page 1! There are two sides to every story, I am in the "mail order" auto parts biz as well. In skips defence, we never here about the 10,000 happy customers only the one problem customer. We take money for back ordered or "special order" parts but make the customer aware of worst case eta's. SKIP you sound like a complete PRICK! you only made your case worst by coming on here and insulting us while trying to plead your case, I have never heard of White Performance but I have now! GOOD JOB!

    My thoughts exactly whole story reeks of hyperbole and vitriol.

    I know hyperbole is like a pasta wrap with pepperoni , cheese and shit , maybe that's Stromboli ?

    But WTF is vitriol ? Like a veggie hyperbole ?
