I need some help. I need to know some dimensions of a Potvin supercharger, for the manifold. On the car I would like to recreate (its going to be a long time) the manifold was handmade, and I would like to find out some dimensions so I can eventually do the same. Matt

That picture is about all the blue print you'll need for an intake. Unless you have exactly the same engine, front cover, drive ***embly, and blower output hat yours will vary.

just install the blower, make a double log intake, and connect them.

Just do a search on crank driven blower setups.. There are pics on here of a 392 Hemi powered f.e.d. with the potvin setup...

Looks like early 331 heads, so you can make a pretty good guess at the diameter of the exhaust pipes and legs between the ports and log on the intake. Most people at that time would continue with port size. If you are close on those pipes you can scale the logs. Anything else is cut to fit. Those old Potvin drives ran at crank speed so they didn't produce lots of boost. But an 8 second car was really, really fast then.

  6. There's a set of nos potvin intake logs for the hemis on feebay.
The supercharger itself a GMC 671 unit. The potvin crank drives pop up every now and then but you need to be ready.

At the time this car made 550 HP. This picture is from 1959.

I know this isn't exactly what you're after but I figured it was informative enough to post.:)
