^no proof that it's stolen...yet... ...but from the sound of the ad it's clear that whoever posted it doesn't know a flathead from his ***.
some local HAMBer needs to roll up on this guy and make sure this dont grow legs before it can be found out true or not..DFW Hamb steak-out...anyone got a black ford crown vic
at that price I'm suprised it is still there. somebody better go "buy" it before someone else does and it is gone for good.
Someone take a copy of the police report and/or case # with you and take the cops just in case!! Hurry up I want to see this guy get his stuff back.......if this is the motor!!
i would notify the police immediately so they can see the ad and have it on record before it disappears. hopefully someone on here can get a hold of it and also get the cops involved. definately sounds fishy. goodluck
I just hope its his motor.Ill be watching this to see how this turns out ,Someone get a hold of Dennis,
John..I called him , and left message, also PM'ed him I dont know if i would get the cops involved..they might just **** up a good recovery plus they have to follow rules , we the people dont have to follow
watch, the guy that's got it probably took it on trade from the thief and now he's gonna get ****ed too.
I hope Dennis has engine #s to verify! I would be careful rolling up there if it is anything like around here. this *** clown probably gave some tweeker a bag of dope in trade for it!
SUPER fishy...........never seen a window tinter selling flatheads next to his air fresheners. Totally subscribed.
if you follow the other thread; sounds like the authorities have been contacted and dennis has the ball rolling. hope he gets it back!
Wow. I thought I had just found a good deal on a flatty for someone. I hope this ends well. It would be awesome to ***ist in a recovery mission. Somethin told me to post it up here. Glad I did.
Yea 51fordshoebox I think you made someone happy to see his motor is still in dallas.Hope he gets it.
I found the add this morning. And thought I found a deal for my shoebox. But if it's stolen I don't want a piece of it. Guy told me this morning he bought it a year ago for a project but wouldn't work for his needs. Sounds fishy as it's the same timeline as the other motor was stolen. Anyone got details on the stolen motor? #'s or identifying products on the motor?
