Well I did it. Got my first post going. been digging round for a short time and dig the topics/treads. living in Ohio I have lost my fear of rust. I don't embrace it, just make it work. bend it, beat it, slap it, tack it. so long as it looks right, it is right! I'm getting an itch to re-rebuild my 41 dodge wc 1/2. started in on it 22 years back and was having fun buggin folks uptown with the stock flat head 6. then i got a 29 buick that I was going to pull around with the 41, so I took it apart got the front reworked with volare ISF and a 360/727 combo. i got the eng sitting in there and and my wifes grandma decided to sell us the 1892 farmhouse. So the truck has been stuck in the back of my shop, sort of like a barn find for the last 15 years. It's ok, the body is Done and its dry, just want to sub frame it. thinking to go with a smaller engine this time. lower the truck to the ground and enjoy the low life. I have grown alot in the last 20 years, I can weld alot better, so I will go a new direction on this re-rebuild.
