lets see what you've got. i searched and found a few topics sort of mentioning them but none actually devoted to them.

i just got my son this one, gonna trim it down a bit and make it look more like a bobber. wonder if i can find a springer front end?

my son turns 9 today and hes gonna be blown away!!! its a 70cc 4 stroke machine-o-doom!!! dont worry though, he has a leather jacket, helmet and gloves!

i need a better pic but its a red metal flake paint with gloss black

My buddy has the same thing.

Pull the slide out of the carb and take the slide block out. With it in it only opens about 1/4 of the way. Take it out and you have one go fast machine!

I have seen minibikes made out of old Schwinn frames with springers from the pea picker type forks they are re-popping. Looks a little to light weight for waht you got there though

  8. Here's my pit bike, origonally built for the Eagle Field mini bike drags, it now makes a very handy get around vehical at the drags and the dry lakes. It's a MCTIM original frame with a 9ci 1954 Model 9 Briggs for power. (3.25 HP)

Here's my dirt track racer and pit bike from 1959.
    Yamaha 125. Dynoed 26 hp with 30%.
It ran alcohol and up to 30% nitro depending on the need.
    It was a real handfull.

Been messing with my Nephew's old Triumph for the last month or so.....changed tank, seat, and now re shaping the rear fender...
Fun to work on something for a change that I can reach, and don't have to crawl under !!

I hope this is on topic. I am a nostalgia altered racer and am building this motorized bicycle to cruise the pits. Kind of an updated Whizzer, old school style.
    Some feastures:
    Felt cruiser frame
    Felt tripple-clamp front fork
    hand made gas tank
whitewalls and fat rear tire/wheel combo
    front drum brake
    custom exhaust
Stealth Black paint with pin stripes or flames TBD

Update: I got it running. What fun! I still need to add the rear disc brake (check out the slick combination rear sprocket and disc brake rotor). Then comes Harley Orange and flatr black paint w/ striping. Enjoy

Take the baffle out of the muffler and give it another go.

With a wife and four drag cars in my life I don't need any more noise. The baffle stays.

  26. I have a 70's Indian Moped pit bike. I wasn't using it anymore 'cause I went to a golf cart so it's currently apart for a minor restoration.

I have "real" bikes too but they're O/T.
