A friend of mine runs a hot rod repair shop....just out of Charlotte NC and on Friday he has " Hot Rod Lunch " Most everyone drives their hot rod over and we all go to lunch. My 3W is not road ready ...but there were 3 others there...... This one is his........all steel......SBC/ automatic, 9 inch rear...... This one was bought at the Charlotte AutoFair LAST WEEK........It is a little goobered up but the body is steel and drives great.....small block Ford, C4 and a 8 inch rear......I was in my Silverado..... Yes, that is Buster's shop and his blue 32 3W also. He drove the brownish 32 sedan in the 3rd pic today to lunch. He has 3 all steel 32's...... .
Zman and I saw that one at Charlotte... the roof caught my attention too. It's not louvered, but has "ribs" that run the length of the roof. At the back-end of each rib, there is a recessed "mini third brake light". The car is red, so these things blend right in. I thought it was a pretty stealthy way to add some visibility during braking. It might look a little trippy from behind with four of those things lighting up. -murph
