I started restoring (5) 60's vintage Volvo's last year. I know: VOLVO! But I am in love with them. I studied automotive design in California, but found I liked old-school styling much better than designing concept cars - unless they were cute little cars for mothers and their newborns, or something. And that's because I'm female. So... I switched to architecture. Now, (15) years later, I am back to my original love. There aren't a lot of people who put vintage Volvo's on air ride (depending on the model it can be a problem) and I stumbled across a lovely "Amazon" on your forum that looked like it might actually sit on the ground. (I am having problems with a '67) so I thought I'd sign up, introduce myself, and contact the fellow in Texas with his '65. I hope that's cool. Thanks much, Stacey
Welcome from Washington. It's OK with me, I like all good looking cars and your Volvo is one my favorites. However you might get some flak from others, so hang on.
love the styling on the earlier volvos and run a junkyard saved 240 as my daily--anyone working on their own car gets an A+ in my book. plenty of creative fabricators here, hope you can find what you're looking for.
Welcome,Im assuming youre talking about my Volvo.Ill contact you and give you some enough soon.Theres also a lot of Swedes on here that know a lot about those Volvos as well.
Volvos are kinda cool. My wife drives a nice restored 72 P1800ES as her daily. This isn't the site for volvos though, it's a strictly traditional hot rod and custom car forum. Good luck.
