I would like to get opinions from you guys here on the HAMB to see what you think about a willys coupe nose high with 5" wheels on the front. The car will be street driven with straight axle. (including some highway) I like the looks of the 4" wheels..would 5 be too wide? Do any of you have pics you could send of any 5" wheels you may have on the front of your g***er looking straight on to it to see what they look like? I suppose some would depend on what tire you put on there also. Are the 4" wide too dicey for the street? I like the looks of the Torque Thrust tto, not sure I like the new manufacturers though as I have heard they are imports now, but they have a flatter spoke which to me looks better. Only thing is I was thinking of 4-4 1/2 on the front and 15x10 on the back..they are offered 5" and 8-1/2". not a lot of flat spoke nostalgia grayed out wheels that offer the 4 and 10 sizes. Thanks for any input.

I run 15x4's on the front of my Comet on the street with no problem, I dont see why you would have any trouble doing the same.

take a look at tires on Coker, or others, and figure what style/size tire will be running-see what width they say to run-4 or 5 will be cool

These are 14"x5" with 185-75-14 tires on my Austin. I wanted a little wider myself:

I run 6" on my '38 Willys sedan sittin low and 47,000 miles so far. I'm starting my '38 coupe street/race g***er and will use 4' for the look. The choice is yours.
