I am looking at getting some So-Cal speedshop wheels for my Model A. What is everyone opinion on build quality, and anything else I should know.
as most of there other products are high quality, I presume their wheels will be nice too. I have seen them in the flesh and from memory they were very good. if you are in Adelaide Australia be aware the freight will be high if you are flying them in(anything up to $150US per wheel just freight)
I have used their products and wheels with all being high quality and well engineered. I think the Boyd Coddington wheel products were developed using SoCal as a model. Normbc9
I used the So-Cal 16X5.5 with 500/16s and the 16X6 with 750/16s on my last deuce roadster (HopUp Magazine 10) and really liked them. I had just sold a roadster before that one that had PS Engineering polished KO wheels and I personally think the SO-Cal wheels have a nicer early Indy/Sprint car look. Mine weren't polished
