HAMB chop/thrash/party this weekend...

well, Springer will be out bright and early saturday, i'll be here, Pinball might make it and Mongo will be out in the afternoon (after he gets his, MUCH NEEDED, beauty sleep.). anyone else wanna come out for the day??? we'll be choppin the top on Springer's 50 Chevy truck and there will be a few other things that need to be done aswell. Sounds like a realy good time working on rods and I could definately stand to se the chop process as my in process rod needs the same. However I cant make it , got four little girls I promised a fun weekend and some dashboard work to do on the rod.

 

sorry to disapoint, but it's not that kind of gathering.

 

I am going to bring Mongo with me to conserve gas. I am going to let him sleep on the way there and then he can nap in the guest room for a while. Once he gets up we can put him to work.

I'm going to pick Mongo up right after he gets home from work. It should be around 8:00am saturday. I need to be back home by about 6:00pm. Mongo and I are going to play poker at a friends later and hang with some of the Depot rejects.

 

I just cleaned out the office (a/k/a Mike's toy room), so now there's no room to sleep in the guest room (unless I get to it before Saturday...) so Jeremy MIGHT just have to stay AWAKE

 

i wont be there that early, guess ill be driving out in the afternoon.

 

if i make it,it will be afternoon..how late is everyone going to be staying?

 

sounds like they will be here till around 6pm...

 

We should at least be there until 5pm. I will be bringing my daughter with me and we will be taking a brake at lunch time to go to a park nearby if there is one.

Springer and Mongo made it out about 9am, just as i started to dose back off. it took a couple cold caffinated beverages to get back going. Mongo went to sleep on the couch shortly after they got here and slept till it was time to eat and nearly time to leave. wussy third shifters .

Springer, his offspring and i drove all over town looking for the right sawzall blades. they were, naturaly, at the very last store in town that carried that type of stuff. Pinball never made it and neither did anyone else. so while we were'nt entertaining Springer's little midget him and i cut up his truck a little. not as much done as i would have liked but not too bad either.
