I am proud to hang out with you! By terms I am a rat rodder. I built what I drive, a 1948 Chevy tow truck. I used some newer parts to make it practical for everyday driving but kept it looking junk yard fresh with lots of rust. I am new to computors but not new to the rod thing. If there are any members of the Cross Members car club out there, I would like to talk to you. Thanks!
No offense pastor but your preaching to the wrong choir. This site is dedicated to traditional hot rodding not P.O.S. (excuse my French) rodentmobiles. Do a little more reading on this site and you'll get the picture. Good luck and welcome from Michigan.
Welcome from SC. Hope you turn your rat into a more traditional hot rod. Could be cool hot rodding up an old tow truck. But its your ride so do with it as you please.
oh ""fecal matter"" some one said the bad word.. any way welcome from huntsville alabama.... what part 10c?????????Bobby...
Welcome pastor. The word _ _ _ rod is not used around here. If you grew up in the fifties or sixies I'm sure you meant "hotrod towtruck." If you built something that you'd have driven in your youth, I'm sure you meant "hotrod," and welcome to the HAMB. Myself, I like almost all kinds of cars, although I have a traditional hotrod in the garage. Its kinda like the Baptist vs. Methodist thing. I'm in Memphis myself, but certainly not a "Tennessean." 1930 Ford pickup in progress.
I for one love the concept of your tow truck, be it a hotrod, ratrod, painted, primered, or rusty, it's still pretty cool. And after reading your bio I LOVE what it represents. Welcome aboard!
Welcome to the Hamb from Alabama, you will find that the rules are inforced here regarding the kind of vehicles we favor, be aware of the terminalogy used to decribe your tradional style truck and you'll be OK......
