PF I think I enjoy going to swap meets more with you through your pictures and narratives than actually going to ones here at home. Thanks again for the enjoyment.

    yeah, yeah, rusty old wheels...

I saw a nice set of wheels for sale a few weeks back. Posted by hotrodroadster. Fair price, too. so I bought them.

G***erlouie and Gary met up at a Nebraska swap meet and the relay was initiated.

when the guys were unloading on Thursday night, GL handed me this nasty looking set of wheels...allegedly from Gary...I kind of thought something was up, but they were all stoic. I swallowed hard and took them into the shop. I just couldn't imagine my pal Gary sticking it to me, but you win some and you lose some.

A few minutes later they let me off the hook. It was a good prank and I enjoyed it.

It was great to see everyone at Jefferson! We seem to spend as much time standing around talking to friends as we do treasure hunting. We did find a few small items, but catching up with everyone is even better.

We got home at 4:00 Friday afternoon and were hustling to get back out the door to head down to Torquefest. Unfortunately, my lovely wife Julie fell coming up our ba*****t stairs, broke a gl*** bottle, and cut her hand pretty badly. We got home from the ER about 9:30 and decided to s**** our Torquefest plans. It took ten stiches to sew her hand up, and she still wanted to go! She's a trooper, and doing much better now.

Sorry we missed everyone at Torquefest, but we'll see you all down the line somewhere.

    Good to see everyone...

    I like Lawrences new ride.

I bought a vintage schwinn for my girls (PF approved this purchase), a new sawzall and an OT Cargo Van in the car corral. No car parts...

So I must have started something, because I went to an estate sale today and ended up with another vintage bike...much better one this time, Paul - pics to follow.

One thing great about the state of Wisconsin is the very large Hobby we have here. Jefferson and Iola are second to none if you can stand the usual swamp at Jefferson and heat at Iola.

It was good you see Poverty Flats, Bobwop, Lawrence, stick shift again, G***er L it was nice to meet you. I've only been going the last 4 years but I am starting to recognize peple as they walk by, Jefferson draws an interesting mix of people.

I went with plan not to buy so I walked around with blinders on most of the time :) However I did have a big bar or two and drug home a nice vintage 110v air compressor

  29. I heard through the g**** vine that Povertyflats had indeed bought this van to haul his engines around the country in! Watch for it in your neighborhood.
