Maybe OT - Estate Sale score

Picked this baby up at an estate sale near my home.

Vintage Atlas drill press. Works all the way. Weighs about 180 pounds and stands nearly four feet tall. Beautiful piece of American-made machinery in excellent condition.

And the seller also threw in a vintage Littco swivel vise. All I had to do was cut it loose from the bench where it had been bolted down forever.

Got both pieces for...wait for it...

...wait for it...

...



$20.

Both are already bolted down and ready for action on my workbench.

If you look where the vise is sitting the mounting holes for my old vise remain visible in the bench. It was a piece of **** from Lowes.

It always busted my cool. Screamed Made in China.

Not sad to see it gone for good.

move drill press out of th corner where ya can use it.... something you need to drill will be longer than 2 feet long
