My name is Dennis Stoeser and I have been busting my knuckles for more than half a century on this old iron. I recently lost a good friend and my neighbor that many of you know. Claude Freund is now doing his thing for eternity. God bless you Claude. Me ? I built my first hod rod back in 62 using a 49 Chevy fast back and a 322 "nailhead". Did a couple stove bolts later on and then stuffed a 371 J2 into my 54 Chevy. Next was a 413 long ram in the same car. Fixed new cars for years. Now retired and just finishing a 65 Fury bench seat 383 four speed. Starting a 37 "Binder" with the usual subframe swap but using late Ranger and not Mustang. A 351 W unless I regress to a "Y" block. Claude kept at it for years and has inspired many of us. Thanks!
