Just attended Vintage TorqueFest 2011 in Maquoketa, IA---I've had my current car (1953 Chevy) for about 12 years. The old girl has been patiently waiting for me while my family grew. I would occasionally start her up and move her around a bit, but never gave her the attention she really deserved. I pre-registered for the 2011 TorqueFest knowing it would light a fire under me finally and it worked. My sons (now 16 & 14) both loved attending the TorqueFest and riding with their "old man" in the '53. (neither remembers riding in it back when they were 4 & 2~go figure) I've had several cars through the years, muscle cars---lifted trucks---daily drivers, but the '53 is different---I won't ever get rid of her, she'll go to one of my sons... Seems like a good time to join the H.A.M.B.---lots of great info on here to help keep traditional rodding alive and teach me a few things!!!
