I am trying to find a color that I believe was available on Chevrolets sometime between '37-'48. Does anyone have the color charts from this period? The colour I am looking for is a bluish green metallic, Teal. This below is quite close to the color's tone Any help would be appreciated! Cheers Jimmy
Try tcpglobal.com, they have factory color codes from the '30's up and and a process to convert the codes to todays paint.

Jimmy B - Sounds like you already identified the colour as "Ozone Blue Metallic" ... but just in case, here's the DITZLER color charts for 1937 thru 1948 Chevys: '37 Buick & Chevrolet '38 Chevrolet '39 & '40 Chevrolet '41, '42, & '46 Chevrolet '47 Chevrolet '48 Chevrolet
Thanks Todd, they help Traverse Green Poly is close as ZomBrian has said. Cheers Zombrian! I'm about 90% it is Ozone Metallic I have seen Kodachrome film of it in '48 and '54 and it looks like the sample above, Ozone colour chip. My new roadster will be painted this same colour.
