Anyone have color charts for '37-'48 Chevrolets?

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Jimmy B, May 3, 2011.

  1. I am trying to find a color that I believe was available on Chevrolets sometime between '37-'48. Does anyone have the color charts from this period? The colour I am looking for is a bluish green metallic, Teal. This below is quite close to the color's tone

    Any help would be appreciated!
    Cheers

Try tcpglobal.com, they have factory color codes from the '30's up and and a process to convert the codes to todays paint.

That Traverse Green Poly and Cimarron Green Poly look close, also.

  10. Thanks Todd, they help Traverse Green Poly is close as ZomBrian has said.

Cheers Zombrian! I'm about 90% it is Ozone Metallic

I have seen Kodachrome film of it in '48 and '54 and it looks like the sample above, Ozone colour chip.

My new roadster will be painted this same colour.
