I had to simplify my pattern a bit. I was having problems sewing the tips of the "v" and getting the material to lay down through the center dip areas. hope you like it!

    hahahah

That is just temporary until I have the time to do it right. I want to strip it, foam it, fibergl*** it, sand it smooth and have it painted black. I wasnt too enthusiastic about putting it on but it was the quickest and best alternative i could think of at the time.

Recks, Looks like you did a great job on your caddy. You made it all yourself and that makes the Caddy all the more yours ! Way cool . . . . .

  7. Looks great.....your first interior?
Just finished my interior, wasn't as hard as people seem to think.

  8. Sewing tight corners means leaving slack in your piping so seam will flex /roll... also relief cuts ..
    takes practice you'll get it
    Good looking so far

Thanks everyone for the kind words. This is the first full car I have done thus far. I have been trying to sew everything I can get my hands on from car seats to seat repair, couches to BBQ covers, and even bags. At some point it would be awesome to focus only on cars but right now I feel that everything is good practice and anything that can make me money right now is a plus. This is what I am doing for a living. I would like to be the guy everyone wants to have do their car so I hope with lots of perseverance, practice, and struggle everything will fall into place sooner or later.

"ricktard" and anyone else who is interested in letting me help them, I would love to and will give you a fair price. Thanks everyone for looking!
