DO NOT USE COPPER!!!! Even if you use soft coiled copper, it will eventually crack and lead to failure. If you want to use hardline, go with stainless steel tubing. For fittings, you can use stainless swagelock fittings. Grainger sells the fittings and the proper bender for the tubing.

Also, don't use aluminum fuel line for your air line, same reason. You will undoubtedly hear people telling you about their success with copper/aluminum tubing for airline but that didn't keep my friend from losing an arm when his line burst and his truck severed his arm at the elbow... Safety is some serious ****.

    Good Morning,
I have never used the quick connect fitting with hard copper. I just did hard line in my he**** with stainless steel, and I flared all the connections. Seems to work the best.

To answer your question.... Those fittings are for the plastic tubing only.
I agree with HRK about using Swagelok fittings. I've been using Swaglok fittings on mine for about 4-5 years and I can let the car sit for weeks with very little change in air pressure.

Stainless or br*** is the way to go for hardlines, as for the fittings you can buy them the same place where you buy the tubing usually.
check this 2 links out, they have the tubing and the fittings, just so you have an idea of how much it will cost you.

Is it cause your system leaks or because it looks better than the DOT tubing? Because if it is for a leak problem i found out that if you use the green or red Loc-***e thread sealer instead of teflon tape or the sealin paste you will have air tight system. honestly if i leave the car on lock up for a week its not gonna drop a inch.

Also, a word of advice, as i live in EU too.
when i bought my system i bought fittings and air line too from the States.
If i knew back then that its impossible to find imperial fitings and air line i would have bought everything metric from here from the beginning, cause the thread on the bags and valves is NPT in any case.
So, basically everytime i need a fitting i have to order it from the usa or uk.
If i will ever have a couple of 100 euros to spare i will convert everything to metric.
