P.s the rear of the truck is about 3 inches lower now i taken out the raise block and put some mini shocks on it.I am wondering however if i will get over that large speed hump at the back of the pontins site.I do doubt it though so i will just have to go around the site the wrong way again..........Marq

I've never been before, can you just turn up for the day or is it a weekend thing?

    Anything else I should know?

on the saturady there is normally an unofficial car show near the beach and the pontins pub the queen vic is open to all.You can pay for the weekend if you have friends to book in with i.e a booking reference but it's about £110 for the whole weekend.....Marq

Any room for a newbie ? Camping at Longbeach site is only £5 a night so that'll do me , more money for beer !

Apparently there's a cruise into a diner in Gt Yarmouth on Saturday , something to do if they won't let anyone on the beach , plus the Cleavers Cruise on Sunday .
Fingers crossed for good weather :)

Sadly, I think I'll miss it this year - again. Have to head back to the states for several funerals...

    Kev,

Next Fri to Orlando for a Sat funeral, then depart to DC for two funerals at Arlington, & probably back here by the following Fri. Then I've got to go to Salisbury on the 20th for the Lyneham memorial. Then back to the states the weekend of Billing for another two funerals at Arlington. I don't like earning frequent flier miles this way...:(

  17. Kev I just got back from Eds, hes working his balls off to get the caddie ready for Hemsby.

When you see him ask for a peek under the hood that engine looks killer with the tri carbs and gold metalic paint. It was still on the engine stand this morning.

What diner in Gt Yarmouth is it?

What time does the cruise start?

  19. Last year we cruised out to a diner just outside great yarmouth it had a late 40's pontiac inside covered in loads a mirror tiles. I think it was used in some gay pop star video.

Cruise to the Pontiac Diner is on Sunday , not sure what time though , I'll try to find out . According to the events list in Cl***ic American there is another cruise which leaves Pontins main gate at 1:30 pm to a fifties diner in Gt Yarmouth , live band , DJ , prizes and celebrity guests apparently . Oooo , mustn't forget me autograph book :)

The saturday one is a new one so don't know what it'll be like . Sunday should be good as its run by a proper rod club , it leaves at 1:45pm from the beach road near the pontins gate , all rods , kustoms and bikes welcome . See ya at one of them I guess ?! :)
