Car vandals, got hit, they got caught.......

Discussion in 'The Hokey Ass Message Board' started by Tman, Apr 17, 2005.

  1. The one night in months I go to bed before midnight and we get vandals in the alley behind my house! Got a young Airforce dude as a neighbor that did the right thing..................he was up and heard tires being slashed on his sportscar, his buddy called the cops, Adam got the knife pulled on his 110 pound skinny ass and then proceded to ask the dude if he thought he was tough enoungh even with the knife. (Adam is an MP and his Glock was just inside the door, too far for any good) So he took after the guy on foot, the off duty cop around the corner jumped in as well. Adams roomate ran the guy down on flat tires until the guy tripped and about croaked, Police were on the scene too soon, nobody had a chance to whup the guy:mad:.

Later on as the cops were taking plates and info, Adam saw 3 more suspicious guys out front, they tried to rush him and he jumped out into the street and flagged down another cop, they got those 3 as well.

I lost 3 tires on the Daily driver pickup, one on my wifes daily (they were all ready to be replaced thank goodness) and 4 freakin brand new tires on the 54!!!!!1111111

The bright side is, I got to see how good the 54 looks slammed to the ground!

The better part is the first one they caught is 22 and was out on bond, States Atty will be contacting all of the victims. THis is the one time I think prison sex is a great invention. Someone with balls as small as this guy will be someones bitch:D

Good Samaritans are out there, I owe Adam a lot of thanks, eho knows what else could have gotten fucked up?

I dont live in a bad town either, even the nicest part of town had a rash of car windws broken recently. I say shoot the parents.

Needed to rant a bit, I am pretty cool this morning but had to vent anyway. Sorry for the semi OT.

Sucks that they got as far as they did, but at least the bastards got caught.:D

  3. That is a very happy ending! These pieces of crap almost always get away with this, but thanks to your neighbor, they'll be going back where they belong. Good on ya!

Man Trent that sucks!! I have never been able to understand what these idiots get out of doing stuff like this.
Early 80s, living in Houston, befriended a kid about 12 who lived down the street, saw him pushing a bicycle with a flat tire in front of my house, fixed it for him. His parents didn't give a rat about him, bad home life. Went out one morning, all cars parked on the street had the street side tires slashed, started @ the corner stopped last house before his. Mine & the cop around the corner, who was also nice to the kid, were only cars with tires not slashed. Kind of a no brainer.

  5. Really just assinine. Even worse, a couple of the folks that lost all 4 tires cant hardly afford rent, one of the ladies is disabled and the nicest person on the block. Oh yea, Mr 22 lived around the corner with his mom. We might not get any recourse, but I will push it through small claims as far as I can if need be. I love getting judgements on pieces of trash like this.

They hit somewhere between 15 and 25 cars total.

Yea, I had a run in with 911 this past week also:

We live in a pretty good area and the garage is detached with a breezeway between it and the house. Plus the house is lit up like "Fort Knox" with floodlights. So 2am Monday morning I here the garage door slam shut, (light sleeper) so I get up to take a look. The door is shut and I put the trash in there before we went to bed, so I think that I may have not locked the door. So I flip the breezeway light off and on real quick. F*#k, the light is on in the shop. So I go in and ask the wife if she is awake while putting on my Doc's and a pair of shorts. So I tell her that I am going to stick my head in the shop real quick and if you see me freak out, Call the cops. So I swing the door open. Nothing in there, so I look around and I can't see any thing moved. The shop is kind of a mess so they would have tripped over something or moved it. So I come inside and call the non-emergency number to ask if they could have a cop drive the area. So we go around the house and flip on every light to spook who ever was out there and we hear a "rattle/rattle/rattle/rattle", oh heck they sent the chopper (AKA: Ghetto Bird) and it starts spotlighting the house and the back yards. Then about 4 cops are walking up the driveway, so I go outside and explain what happened. So they asked me to unlock the shop. Sure, I went inside and got the key and unlocked the door and I say casually to the cops "Oh, the light switch is on the left" and they pulled their guns with flashlights and started yelling for who ever was in there to come out. At this point, I kinda got outta the way (aka:went back to the front door). So they searched around and did not find anything all the while a chopper is right over the top of are house. So they checked the neighborhood and did not find anything. But they flew the chopper around for about 10 mins checking the area. Next day I ordered wireless motion sensors for the garage and studio so that I could sleep better.

The good thing about this story is the chopper showed up in 2 mins and the cops in less than 4 mins.

Hope all is well now TMAN, I know exatly what your talking about. I have had to hide my cars several times for fear of a beating. I only had one thing chucked at my 55. All my cars have been keyed sucks ass, espicaiully when you dont who or why.

  8. Yeah Shortbull, you have loads more trouble down there than I get! It comes down to not repecting each other property.

Sod, the ironic thing is I bought a boatload of light fixtures and motion detectors yesterday..............for our new house out in the country! The one that will have a gate and mutiple levels of security, plus ample firing lanes. It sucks a person has to think this way. I got started on security ideas for the new house watching that Discovery show with the house burglars. That wouldnt help what happened last night, this guy was moving fast through the alley.

Geez. Why the hell would a 22 year old on bond be out trashing cars? What an idiot. Shame noone got a chance to bash him. Hopefully his cellmate in the clink will think he has a pretty mouth.

  11. My old workmate came home to find some dude in his house (his elderly parents lived there too). Called the cops. Caught the guy. Police held on to him........even when he booted the prick in the shins with his steel-capped boots!! They "didn't see anything", he said!

Sorry to hear about the damage Tman. I worry about that stuff all the time at my current residence.

When I worked patrol graves in another state, we cought unfortunately too few in progress calls. The ones we did catch "red handed" for some reason they always seemed to want to fall down and hurt themselves, but I can't confirm that.

Being a car guy, I can' stand others screwing up somebody else's hard work, let it be a rod or just their daily. I agree with the post above, prison sex is a good thing. It's like forced...."education"

It seems as though the slap on the wrist experiment, just isn't working!

I think the "legal system" should try restitution. These a-holes should have to pay back all the people, at prison wages, even if it takes 20 years.

Too bad ya didn't get a chance to unload a little on them before the cops got there. I'd guarantee they wouldn't do that kind of stupid shit again.

  16. When ya' have to have ample firing lanes it sounds like a pretty tough neighborhood!!!

The firing lanes I remember were those at the rifle ranges in the army!!!

  17. Yes, I learned that term from my Uncle as well:)! I am breaking ground on my new place 20 miles out, I have 13 acres of freedom and property taxes:eek:! My house site is on a hill looking down on the drive......................good views as to who comes up my drive as well as out over Shortbulls place 75 miles into the Badlands to the East!

22 fucking years old and a record? Jesus, that kind of shit was stuff all the punks in Jr. High were doing! There's a guy that will move from petty criminal to 1st class felon if I ever saw one. I just hope no innocent people die as he makes his way through his sorry life.

Tman, I agree 100%, keep track of the low-life slime and file a suit in small claims court. To ensure that you will get paid after you win your damages award (which I'm certain you will) be certain to perfect your award by recording your claim with the appropriate civil authority. This means that even if the prick decides not to pay, you can track him down and have his wages garnished-assuming he decides to get a job. If he has a bank account, you can get a court order to have that seized. In other words, make this little jerk-off sorry that he ever decided to have his "little night of fun." Squeeze his nuts until they turn into peanut butter.

I am not sure how plentiful oak trees are in you parts but I got a dodge dually and I could possibly bring you one for a house warming gift.:D Maybe a little vigilanteism (and I dont know if that is a real word) is whats needed now days.It work for years because not to far from where I live theres a place called hang mans crossing and thats where some of the Reno gang met their fate.
Remember An oak tree is just a little nut that held its ground.Heck we could even make it mobile and take it to the perps if need be.:D

one of my friends had to park his car in the street at his old place, and some pricks kept breaking into it. it was always a tuesday night, happened 2 weeks a month.

so, for three weeks, we sat in a car just down the street drinkin' beer as our tuesday entertainment. the third week, they showed up, and started pokin' round his car... we didn't call the cops!

just the other night i had some kids looking in my car, on my property, rang the cops (older and wiser now) and the chopper was overhead in minutes!! the poor bastards saw me in nothing but boxers and sneakers! UGH!

  24. Update, I still havent had a detective call me but the paper reported the guy is 44 not 22? Interesting....................they also say he hit over 50 tires total.

I just had an odd incident at my house. I live in a somewhat rural area, nobody comes by. Last night I was moving my hoist out of the garage, and had to move 4 mounted tires and wheels. I put them outside and left them there. When I left this morning at 9 am they were stacked neatly next to the garage. When I came home at noon they were floating in my pond. Nothing else was touched. I think my son's friends did it, because they know I'll make him pull them out anyway.
