Nice so far. I like the old timey look on the sbc, also like the ride height, bones, frame, grille, etc
16s with 5.5 in front & 7.0 in back Firestones. Today we just put a S10 rearend in to tighten in up, & those S10 rearends are A PERFECT FIT!!!!!
*****in little roadster...just what I want for my next build! Gotta finish the 51 truck first then find more garage space!
Sellars Equiped "Hollack"??? windshield. Not my cup-of-tea, but it has grown on me, I am starting to like it. We are going drive it to Legg Lake on June 4
We brought it back from the darkside. Some tried to make a MG, Jag, Morgan, or . . . . . some kind of Euro sportscar out of it.
I just cut the back off a cherry 32 frame & it hurt. I personnally wanted to incorporate the 32 gas tank into the car. But this "bob job" looks alright.
got my favorite tool, my hacksaw, to make a lower aternator mount/bracket and . . . its like going together in two minutes. I thought I'd would share a quick and cheep way to make a lower mount alt. bracket (2)parts - garage "J" bracket/arm & a 70's/80's upper alt. bracket oh yeah this is for a SBC & probably a BBC & maybe others??? so far rough rough mockup. (2) cuts, first, the garage "J" bracket/arm, the second for steering clearance on the lower lower alt. bracket. I still gots to weld a tab for upper of the two bolt holes on the block for the "J" bracket & I think I'm going to add a 2 inch +- long piece of that "J" bracket to the motor mount to the intake manifold connection of the 70's/80's upper alt. bracket. The hard part . . . . . this ****'N TYPING. Hope the Pix clear it up. piece HOMIES
