help with electronic ignition??

what type of ignition should i get for a 235?? need to upgrade it a little bit just not sure what to look for.

I agree, why upgrade? Tune the car with a good valve adjustment , new plugs properly gapped and add some NAPA Echlin heavy duty parts in the distributor and drive er !!!

 

welll just runs a little haggerd at the moment but thanks for the advice

 

Put an HIE on it. Less than $100 and it's a drop in. Never change points again.

 

If you want to go Electronic for easier starting and never having to replace and adjust points again - Put in a PerTronix Ignitor. Throw the stock points in the glovebox in case you ever have a rare failure as it only takes a few minutes should you need to change back. Get part number 1167 if you've converted to 12v or 1167N6 if still 6 volt, you won't be sorry

 

Ive had good experiance with the pertronix on two cars. Some with nay say it, but thats like everything out there some people like it and some dont.

I also got my petronix stuff for dirt cheap so I really like it.
