I'm planning a 3 week trip out to California and the start of the trip will have me in the L.A area and by the end of the second week I have to be in Morgan Hill Ca.
I had a couple of places mentioned to me but they were not by people who lived out there,I know there is a lot of cruise nights at places out there,so if you could please post them just cars and bikes spots thanks.

You don't mention a time frame, but there's always stuff going on. See www.socalcarculture.com for the most comprehensive info. Pm me if you need some guidance.

There are cruise nights all over the Bay area. Not too familiar with whats goin on in the San Jose area, which is where you'll be when you come to Morgan Hill.Thats where we used to street race back in the 80's/early 90's.

Definitely the NHRA museum, the Peterson, and drop down to Chips place in Huntington Beach. Stop off at Mooneyes in Sante Fe on the way. Sure made for an unforgettable weekend for me.

If you can get to Huntington Beach on Saturday morning the Donut Derelict's cruise in is on the corner of Adams Ave and Magnolia. (Adam's Ave Donuts). I've always liked it. And if you don't want donuts there's the Anti-Donut gathering/breakfast as well.

The Drags at Eagle Field are on the 21st of this month, other than that there isnt much going on in the Fresno area.

I got quite a list going,a friend of mine has done almost the samething, but he went to mostly dragstrips and a few cruise nights, but he was not looking for the museums like The NHRA and Peterson's.
But at the end of my California trip I'll be in Morgan Hill CA,at Custom Chrome's HQ just for a visit they, always tell me when I'm out there stop in and see them so thats what I'm going to do.
I had contacted the California bureau of tourisum the sent me a bunch of maps, coupons and some cool spots to see.

Escondido cruise night. Starts around 4pm on friday afternoons. Not just a cruise. They have stepped it up each friday and each cruise has a theme. Last week was Tractor cruise. Laugh...but it was a serious turnout. The cruise commitee shuts down various streets of Grand Avenue and displays the theme of the cruise. The Front engine dragster was a impressive show.
