Guess I'll start it off then. Just a few I've been working on, and a special one of Boyd's new rat rod (from a photo I saw on the HAMB!)
is That paint Color By Boyd Roadster Orange? If so, It's a beautiful Color. I'm currently Working on a 1:25 Scale 1926 model T Sedan Delivery. very Nice models.
The paint isn't all that Great, I find there isn't very much Paint in the Cans, because I have to get another can of the Orange because it pooled a bit on my '26 T Sedan Delivery. But, the Roadster Orange paint is simply stunning. I was actually thining about using it as the color for My 1960 Biscayne when I'm done with it. Why don't you like Boyd?
Thats a loaded question around here....simple answer? Asshole with no sense of style. No more Boyd talk. No, the paint isn't that great. It thins a lot on edges, gets heavy towards the bottom, and takes days to dry. If you use it right (start with VERY light coats), it lays out decently. All the "Boyd" paints are like that, but they've got some good colors, so it's what you use. I built that one (it's not finished btw) from a lot of different parts....'40 frame rails, body made from a couple ala kart bodies, pieces from here, from there.....a lot of scratch building.
Oops, Sorry Didn't know He-who-is-not-to-be-talked-about was not to be talked about. Cool. I have a 40 Standard coupe that didn't turn out so good, and I also have a bunch of parts from various other kits to make a one off. How did you make the rear of the car?
1Lowlesabre - I saw that photo of your's and I just couldn't stop laughing - I had to build it from some of my old junk! Guys, NICE work!
Great Sunday show guys! Fidge, I'm really digging that A-Sedan. Here's two pics of a model in progress I took off the Hobby Heaven board. This builder gots the right stuff. Joel
