Found this on ebay http://cgi.ebay.com.au/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?ViewItem&item=280668470741&ssPageName=STRK:MEWAX:IT however old mate is very **** about where he sends things. "NOT OUTSIDE THE US!" Just wondering if anyone else may have one for sale and will send to Australia? Cheers Bones
That would be awesome if you could but he said the winning bidders paypal postal address must match up with the postal address of where he is posting it to. So unfortunitaly that would work. Really appreciate it though.
Have you sent him a message directly to see if you can work out the shipping to a US hamber so we could then ship it to you. I can't imagine that he would deny that if you worked it out ahead of time.
I can't imagine that he would deny that if you worked it out ahead of time. selling on ebay is like swimming in shark infested waters. dude doesn't want to ship out of the US because it is very easy for non US sales to be "lost" since there is no tracking or delivery confirmation. the place is swarming with thieves and ebay not only does not care, but helps a thief steal your money. 2 things to do: offer to send him American Dollar$ in cash, or have Porkn****** buy it on his US account and have P&B ship it to you. ebay ****s. I sold for 5 years there and gave it up when they started the "screw the seller" campaign in 2008
You might want to reread his eBay listing as he says he will ship to a US address if you tell him where you want it shipped. By doing this he will lift the block on your bidding, so you can then go ahead and bid on the item. If you win the item you must pay via PayPal in US Dollars. They in turn can forward it to you, as per your agreement with the person at the US shipping. Looks to me like you're free to bid on the item provided you take the necessary steps as per the sellers request. GOOD LUCK, CHEERZZZZZZZ!!!!!!!!!!!
If you read the last paragraph of his auction he tells you why he doesn't ship outside of the USA. If you read the last paragraph of his auction he tells you to contact him if he can ship it to someone in the USA and he will lift your bidding block...............You should be able to handle it with "porkn******" from there..........
I didn't read the listing, but thats exactly what I was referring to. I am actually a fan of Ebay unlike a lot of people. I have bought lots of stuff over the years and only had a couple bad experiences. For the most part, people will work with you if you work things out ahead of time. That has been my experience time and time again.
Boy aint that the truth. I sold on there for a few years and never had a problem. Even shipped anywhere if we talked before the sale ended. I was ok with there fees and PayPal's precentage and all. But now it looks like a buyers market for sure. Sorry about getting off topic but this gets to me.
the bad experiences are probably from not reading auctions! as a seller ive been screwed over more times by buyers not reading the damn auction and with ebay new policys im the one getting screwed because i cant leave feedback for sellers now. its like a get out of jail free card for buyers who screw up. srry if it seems directed at you but its not.....just my first sentence is
Good work porkn******. Ratty, goes without saying but make sure you look after your new best friend. Pete
